CHRONOLOGICAL BIO : 1987 ONWARD
1987 - Drops out of college to pursue his passion - Photography

1987-early1988: Works as an assistant to Bangalore based advertising photographer B.K. Kiran Kumar

1988 - Member of the editorial team and photographer for the book - "KARNATAKA Impressions", published by Gangarams Publications. The book was edited and designed by Resource Business Communications Bangalore.

1988-1990 - Freelances for publications such as Washington Post, India Today, Society, Savvy, Star Dust, Sunday..etc

1990 December -1991 January - Does his first advertising campaign for Elgi Equipments for Stimulus communications. It wins advertising club gold award.

1991: His second as well as third campaigns win advertising club awards. Continues to free lance for magazines. Works with noted director Ketan Mehta on a documentary for Channel IV.

1991: Plays an important part in founding AIPA and NEWSCHOOL - 91, the acclaimed workshop in Visual Excellence

1992 June - September: Attends master still life photographer Hans Neleman’s workshop at Santa Fe, New Mexico. Later in New York City trains in digital imaging.

1993: Subsequent campaign for Elgi Equipments win ad club awards, and rewards to the client. Begins work on a book on Bangalore for Gangarams Publications. Again plays a key role in organising NEWSCHOOL-93, in New Delhi

1994: "Bangalore Scenes from an Indian City" gets published. Advertising work continues for clients such as Enterprise Advertising, Lintas, HTA..etc

1995: Begins work on setting up a digital studio specialising in digital imaging and multi media. Shoots a B&W calendar for San Engineering for Contract Advertising on the theme of "Railway Tracks and Life", that wins awards and acclaim from around the world.

1996: Official photographer for Michael Jackson’s HIStory tour of India. Indivis Ineractive, the digital studio begins. And begins work on KARNATAKA - a book and CD-ROM project, a first of it's kind in India. Does award winning campaigns for Action Aid (voted as one of the 50 best ads in India), Hutchison Max and Shivaki Watches. Conceptualises Indian Vision the digital directory of Indian Photographers.

1997: Publishes LIGHT - India’s only magazine on visual thinking, KARNATAKA gets published to great reviews. Sets up www.indivis.com, a portal dedicated to photography and photographers. Another first of its kind project.

1998: Invited to talk in several seminars on new media and photography including, WEBEL seminar in Calcutta and AIPA - KODAK seminar on digital imaging in Calcutta. Consults for Kodak’s digital imaging division in India.

1988-2001: Involved in building Indivis Interactive, a new media company.
