This workshop is for serious amateur photographers, photo enthusiasts, those who are beginning to get into the profession and those who use photography to supplement/complement your work, such as anthropologists, sociologists, urbanists..etc. It will help you to take that next step as a digital photographer.
The workshop is designed to help you break through technical/creative barriers and launch you into a new realm of creating good photographs. I will share tips and techniques about composition, lighting and lenses. The workshop will infuse new creative thoughts that help you see and photograph the world with new eyes.
Your choice of genre might be landscapes, cityscapes, streets or portraits. With intensive shooting, personal interactions, editing sessions and group critiquing the workshop will,
- Help you to create new work with impact.
- Help you develop your own way of visual storytelling
- Focus on building strategies towards developing your ideas.
- Offer one-on-one instruction on how to create a project and realise it.
- Introduce you to multi media story telling.
Participants will propose a story idea, go out and shoot, receive critiques and editing advice individually, and through group discussions. This workshop will introduce you to multimedia story telling as well.
